Precise for Tibia?

Hi, anyone did Precise for tibia? How many cm have you achieved and took how many months to recover (normal walk)?
And anyone did both femur and tibia? I would like to know how pain is it for tibia compare with femur, thank you!

Yes I'm new to this forum but I have read lots of posts in these months. I read your Diary on quadrilateral Precice2 LL with Dr. Gokhan too. But only 1 post I read so far is talking about tibia vs femur. I just hope someone did both can compare the pain after surgery directly.

Most of the posts were talking about the Proportion of Tibia and Femur. And I'm asking for the pain of Precise Tibia and Precise Femur, which I haven't seen post of someone who did both which compared clearly yet.

common thought is tibia less painful than femur and less of a general headache than femur.

However, when you factor in all the other pros and cons, seems like choosing femur over tibia is a no-brainer. Max potential height, scarring visibility, drilling through your hip rather than you knee, risks of high t/f ratio, etc.

It’s hard to say because I didn’t have a nail inside with the fixators, but tibia pain was a cake walk for me. The femurs was definitely more painful, but then again note it’s not an even comparison. There is another patient I spoke to that did both segments with precise and he said tibia was easier and less pain. Not really enough sample size to make a definite conclusion. I’ve read opposite from other on the forum

Thanks a lot for the answers. Seems most said that tibia is less painful than femur, but as I wish to gain 7cm+ then femur should be the preferred choice. For tibia, if aimed for 6cm+ would take much longer for recovery right as I read.
