I know Giotikas has a system for judging pre/post op proportions. Do the American doctors (Paley/Rozbruch/Mahboubian/Maryland Drs) do this as well? I feel this is a cosmetic surgery and they should be able to help with the aesthetic side of the surgery.

Most doctors will need x-ray pictures of both your tibia and femur before they operate on you. They will measure your proportions through the images.

Not sure if they would give proportions advice as most LLers want to do the maximum amount on femurs for example. You get the X rays then make up your own mind.
