Questions for Americans who did their LL in Europe, esp Greece

Dr. Assayag had this list of items. I was wondering logistically and price wise factoring in amazon in USA vs America + transporting the items, is it better to buy these objects before and bringing them with your luggage? Or order them to reach your place in Greece?

 Make sure your house is set up to avoid going up or down stairs as much as possible.
you will need :
Shower seat
toilet seat elevation and stable support bars
a long clamp to grab things in the ground.
a sock aid tool
velcro shoes are not necessary but can be useful .

I would bring the Velcro/slip on shoes with you, but the shower items could probably be given to you if you check in at a hotel and get a room for disabled people.
