1. How good was the tattoo at concealing the scar?
2. What about the depression/sinking in at the pin site scars?
3. When someone inspects it close up, can they notice there are scars/depressions?
Questions for people who got tattooos to conceal external scars
Just googled this and read about "paramedical tattoos" and it seems like a cool concept. I'm doing internal femurs so I'm not too concerned about scars due to the location on my incisions, but if they end up worse than expected, I may consider some kind of treatment, including concealing tattoo.
1. Quite good. Light will still reflect off the scar differently even if you fill it with ink. A scar won't be 100% hidden.
2. That would still be there if you don't get it treated with either excition or a filler.
3. Maybe, maybe not. It depends on the scar and the tattoo design and how carefully the person is examining you.
Thanks. What kind of shape/design did you go with and what would you get if you could get the tattoo again?
I want to keep that a secret. But to you I recommend watching the entire series of Ink Master. You can get a lot of good ideas and information about tattoos from that show.

you have to be crazy to put tattoo trash on your legs just to hide some little scars
get them excised by a plastic surgeon to make them linear, laser the edges and thats it
hide your legs with long pants for 1 year and tell your girlfriend you get kicked around a lot during soccer with your buddies if she asks duh
