1. What was the timeline like from the nail removal surgery to recovery?

2. How long did you stay in the hospital?

3. How long did it take to walk?

4. Who did you go to and how much money did you spend on it?

Still debating in my head whether to do this with Dr. Assayag (is a few hours drive away from my parent's home) or Dr. Giotikas (my current doctor for gnail femurs)

It just seems like a good idea to become Dr. Assayag's patient for something and establish a doctor-patient relationship, just to have a doctor within a few hours drive if something goes wrong later. Not sure how the hospital/recovery accommodations work out to be in Baltimore, not sure how the price compares in practice
