Hi everyone,

I believe I’ve made the decision to undergo limb lengthening, and I have already chosen my surgeon.
The objective is to have the surgery next year.

Before my consultation, I had an inquiry about any prerequisites that might impact my eligibility for the surgery.

1. I am dealing with a lateral pelvic tilt that has resulted in muscle imbalances in my left leg, glute, and hip, requiring rehabilitation.
2. I am experiencing ankle instability/clicking from running, which is attributed to the lateral pelvic tilt. I have temporarily stopped running.
3. I am scheduled to address a minor ACL tear this year.
Though I have plans for rehabilitation, I am uncertain if these issues could hinder me from undergoing the surgery due to factors like muscle imbalance or flexibility.

Just to let you know, I am 173 centimeters tall and aiming to reach 178/179 centimeters.

Thank you!

I do not believe these will pose any issue for you to undergo surgery.

I wish you a safe journey and successful achievement of your goal.

We are interested to know if you can maintain a diary, of course.
