Are you able to read novels during lengthening? 1 book takes a couple days so I reckon can finish quiet a few that make time pass faster.

You can do everything except running during lengthening. However, reading/sitting is generally frowned upon by doctors since it implies you're not stretching and strength training. You then get wide legs, duck ass, and an ugly walking gait.

Lengthening requires intensive stretching and exercise to recover from. It is definitely not something that you can pass by reading. Though, feel free to pick up a book during the first week after surgery. You won't be moving much even if you want to due to the fresh wounds.

My mind was sluggish and my reading speed slowed, but yeah you can read.  Especially if it's something light and easy like Harry Potter.

I watched YouTube and played computer games.  The kind of games that are turn-based, not real-time action that requries fast reflexes and skill.

of course uou can read - you can't stretch 24/7!! - good thinking, use the time to catch up on novels etc & further educate yourself!! - i took an anthology of literature & a few novels - was a pleasure to read when in russia!! - i found some english books in the local shops too 😊
