Hey
What are the chances of running after lengthening?
Right now I'm in early consolidation phase and by judging my ability to walk (none) I'm starting to think running won't be an option in the future.
Im at my 30s and lengthened only 4 cm on tibias, and I don't plan of being an athlete runner... But thinking one day I'll need to run after my kid or any light temporary jog... Would that be possible?
I know there are stories and evidence of people going back to sports...but how often is that at more advanced age?

Yes many who have done it have resumed back to sports so it’s possible.

You will run again, its going to be a while though.  Dont judge your current condition on your future abilities.  You just started healing.

If you want to run again you have to choose a good doctor for doing the surgery carefully.
I trusted  dr.   Yasser  Elbatrawy in  Egypt  and now i can't walking normally.
Running is a dream for me after his bad work...
Some doctors like him, think that their work is just to collect money from their patients
