Quote from: Moshek on September 21, 2023, 10:44:05 PMthen may be i just should do femur 8 cm and wear 5cm insoles?
whats the point of 4cm? its nothing, too low..
plus, how long will i recover with tibia LL? up to a year? not sure if it worth it..
femur 8cm sounds great!

I can’t imagine going through all the pain, risk and cost that comes with LL and still wearing insoles afterwards. How would you ever go to someones house, go to the pool, go bowling, date a girl when you have to take your shoes off and those huge insoles are in there. As soon as someone finds one that you’re wearing those (and they will it’s just a matter of time) then all people will think and talk to you about will be your height.

Essentially it’s like an ironic atom bomb. Trying to escape being judged negatively in height in the short term wearing the insoles but as soon as the bomb goes off (i.e. people finding out) you’ll forever be trapped in never ending height jokes and judgement.

I can't imagine how to pay $50 000 and struggle a year for 4 cm, LOL!
Really?

I have been wearing insoles for about 10 years and never had problems with them, many people don't pay attention on those 5 cm, everything in your head, if you think about it then its only your personal problem.

And if your girl really loves you then she doesn't care, women wear high heels, why man can't wear insoles? It's 21 century, look at Jared Letto, he wears high heels and doesn't care what people "who go with him to the pool" think.

What are you even talking about? Looks like it happened with you and you have now forever insoles complex haha
So those who talk, let them talk, why you care? If those are your friends and they keep talking about your height and try to humiliate you then they are not your friends and just   people. Some of my friends noticed insoles and they never told me anything, I guess my landlord noticed that I have insoles and do you think that I care? I don't care at all, you need to respect yourself enough to be confident and don't care what other people think. If you are ashamed of what others think then LL surgery will not help you, after height increasing you will be ashamed of something else all your life thinking what other people think about you or talk. But it's your life so do what you want.

4 cm on tibia doesn't worth time and money that's the point. I think that those who do 4 cm and go under the risk are just crazy! 5-6 can be considered but not 4cm! too low.

I agree with Moshek. A 4 cm gain is barely anything and paying that amount of money for that is just not worth it unless your're extremely short. Besides tibia heals slower, have more complications and have a much less safe potiential gain in height.

im not sure about safe but i think the most convenient is femur precice 2. besides the it band release if any. this is the way to go. tibia lengthening you can walk with ballerina feet if not taking care with early on the journey. pt for tendon achilles is a pain also.
