September14 - Internal Femurs - Dr. Betz - 2014
Hi,september14.Really appreciate your story. But I have a question and hope to get your answer.
How much did you spend for the surgery? Including the surgery fee and other costs like housing etc.Because as you know , cost is an important factor to be thought.
Betz is expensive. Not as much as Paley, but expenssive

September14 is absolutely right. Femurs have a shorter consolidation than tibias for the internal nail. I think Dr. Betz told me that tibias take twice as much time as femurs for bone growth.
Are you sure about that ? Now I am doing external femurs, so if tibias needs 5 monthes in the external device for 5 cm, femur would take 3 monthes only in the external device for 5 cm ?

Who told you that?
Please be on reality.

Hello alittletooshort;
My proportions were %83 before the surgery and now i am happy with my new proportions too
But its open to interpretation and changes person to person.
Thank you very much for good wishes
Hello Mays;
İ spent for surgery like 49.000 euro and i stayed long time for recovery in Germany.
Physio,accomodation,foods, i think i spent more than other patients.But i dont know exactly how i spent i dont wanna give you wrong information.
You can ask my friend Raisin Bran because he calculates exactly numbers
Thank you very much
Hello Alex;
Sorry I dont have enough information for extarnal,Bran and me are talking about internal nails and it was also about bone healing .İn this process I saw my friends x-rays too and I can say that bone healing really changes person to person,I think it is something genetic.Someone has fast bone recovery,someone has slow.And I heard that, for same person tibias recovery time is longer than femurs.But I can not say how fast your bone heals.
