It's a common occurrence for LL patients. When I told my doctor this happened on my right upper shin area, he recommended slowing down from 1.0mm/day to 0.75mm/day for a few days.

Guys apologies for restarting this thread but I'm having the exact same issue (numbness of sheen and knee) now that I'm at 3.4cm and was wondering how you both did after lowering down to 0.75mm.
I did that too since 2nweeks and the numbness is still here.
Thank you
I had lots of nerve pain and numbness during lengthening. It started around 30mm. Dr Robbins prescribed Gabapentin and slowed lengthening to 0.75mm a day. Nerve pain and numbness lasted for several months after I stopped lengthening. Now I only have tiny amount of numbness on my left shin and I am sure numbness on my shin will go away 100% with time.

Thank you very much for the answer. Not what I wanted to hear though
.
All right, I'll better get used to these feelings then.
Cheers
Some patients nerve pain goes away after slowing down to 0.75mm per day or immediately after lengthening so everyone seems to have different experience with this procedure. Some don’t even get nerve pain. They stopped one patient around 50mm because it was on top of his foot and he was beginning to lose movement. They did not want him to get foot drop.

It does not always go away with time. Don't worry though
a nerve decompression should resolve the issue if it does not go away on its own.
