Hello, I am 5'9.5 I'm debating weather to lengthening both bones or just the femur.

If I choose to lengthen both I will be 6'2 however I'm not sure if the extra 2 inches from the tibia is worth ot not ,

What is everyone else's experience of lengthening the femur and tibia

I think the max you could is 10cm with LON femur.
If you wanna go from 176.5 to 188, you'd have to split 11.5 into two surgeries. I'd do 6.5 femur and 5 tibia (keeps about .80 tibia femur ratio)

Absolutely irrelevant what other people think of your height. Especially strangers on a forum lmao. Wanna go through time pain misery spending a lot of money twice. If yes then sure that’s a reasonable goal

I'm asking if being 6 feet is a reasonable goal

Yes, it's pretty reasonable in your case. I'd suggest go for 8cm in the femur and be done with it.

I would advise to do 6-8cm femurs. And call it good at a true 6'0. With shoes you will be basically 6'1.
It's pretty painful and expensive to do it twice.
However if you have the money and time then do whatever you want. But I don't think doing the Tibias for 6'2 is worth it

With 6 cm femur you’d be 5’11.5” barefoot and within the safety margin for a good recovery.

I think that’s just above average in even the tallest country’s and a very respectable height anywhere in the world. No one will give you problems because of your height ever.
