I hope no one learns something harmful from this thread. Pulmonary embolism risk does not decrease with staged.

I m who?
And yes let's assume you know better then doctors !
Even the last interview of C4L with the doctor from HSS said it decreases but you are a kid with mental problems so you know it better .

Quote from: LifeMastery on February 28, 2022, 09:11:47 AMYou sound so irritated to hear the truth. Truth is, this surgery is not for everyone. If you are scared of constipation and embolism and wants to wait for weight bearing and then wants to do staged then I think you don't really want to do this. People who do this have already decided they are gonna go ahead with it. If you can wait for years just so a weight bearing nail comes and you then do staged then do you really need this? Usually people who do it want to do it as fast as possible and move on.

2024 weight bearing nail comes out
2025 weight bearing nail seems reliable
2025-2026 you do staged procedure

OK

Just wanted to give you honest advice but got hostility. Just take a flight to South Korea or Las Vegas and see patients.

Has there been news about Stryde replacement pushed back to 2024?

Given how it was pushed back from late 2021 to 2022 and now late 2023 it wouldn't suprise me if nuvasive pushed back another year.

Highest, yeah it can be 2024. No one is giving any updates. It has to get FDA approval. It is no small deal. After it is launched how do we know it won't cause the same problems as Stryde?

I wonder what masteryourlife's or speedialer's timeline is.

Still u r missing my point or playing blind for unknown purposes. But I am recently uprooting into Reddit spreading my unique ideologies that can depict my mentality about being short and as a result either the repliers welcomed me and consoled me very well or related to what I had demonstrated, so you gotta learn more things about how inflicting and grueling being a short man is and as mentioned above, u can also see being short for a man is getting worse and worse gradually and that is why I can got related to or welcomed. So sweeping changes about heightism has already taken place in this world compared to the previous situations.

You won't know but it's a risk many are willing to take with good reason. If it's been off market for at least 3 years that is due to testing.

At 175 you are planning to wait for 2 years for weight bearing and then do staged? hmmmm.

My advice is to meet a doctor and ask your queries to him/her. Instead of learning only from Youtube.

How much risk are you reducing by doing staged? Why don't Paley and Donghoon and Debiparshad offer this method if it's much safer?

I think if to achieve 16cm in total Paley is always recommending Option 5 aka staged quadrilateral lengthening * 2?
