Thank you for contacting SYNOSTE! Unfortunately this 3rd Generation system is not yet commercially available. We are entering the next phase of clinical evaluation so we anticipate availability only at the end of 2018. I am so sorry. I understand that this may be too late for your immediate need.
To answer your question – we recommend a maximum 7cms of lengthening at any one time. While the bone can technically grow more, the reality is muscle, tendons, nerves, and other soft tissue also have to be lengthened and they should not be overdone.

Wow this would surely be a benefit to future LL'ers! 2 years is not that far away! I wonder what the costs would be.. and how much different it is from the Precise nail.
Its essentially the same thing as precice. Both lengthen by magnetic fields

Anyone have a link to read more on Syntose? Couldn't really find anything searching.
Really intrigued and looking forward to surgery with the Synoste technology. From what I have read and spoken with them- they will not be conducting surgeries, as they are only device and technology manufacturers. Does anyone have any idea about their launch into the market?
Also- which hospitals/doctors will they be tying up with the start off after they finish clinical trials?
does anyone know how are they different from Precise and other magnetic lengthening? I hope they get more articles out
