Quote from: Oh So Arrogant on May 10, 2018, 09:09:03 PM100% correct. Not just knee pain, but a long list of other short and long term complications.
Yeah it's strange to undergo retrograde, unless if antegrade is just not feasible, but rarely the case.

By the way, you are derailing. All of you are out of topic. Respect the OP, and have your debates about arthritis and knee pain elsewhere,

Very strange indeed. Dr. Monegal just wants to perform the easier and faster surgery for himself, he doesn't care that the patient suffers the consequences for the rest of their life.

Quote from: Life on May 10, 2018, 07:06:08 PMFemur retrograde approach is bad for the knee. I've met many people with knee issues.

That is exactly right. I'm surprised more people don't know this already.

Dr. Monegal never tells his patients this information before he ruins their legs.

FYI, I asked Oh so Arrogant in private what he had against Dr Monegal and he told me 'Do everyone a big favor. Slit your wrists from the palm to the elbow. The world will be a better place without you'. That's the type of guy we're dealing with: a person who encourages suicide. His PM makes even more clear that he is an alt account of Mr Sarcastic (aka RodThick aka Zaney).

This paper does not correlate high femur /tibia ratio and risk of arthritis. It only correlates high tibia/femur ratio and arthritis.

True. People should be very careful when they only plan on lengthening their tibias. The amount they lengthen and how it changes the tibia/femur ratio is very important. They could be setting themselves up for real problems later in life.
