Hello, I was wondering if it's better off doing 7cm on tibias than femurs. What are your thoughts?
Thoughts about doing 7cm on tibias first
i dont think it's a good idea. The limit for tibia is 6cm, and i've seen many people who went above 5cm and then have problems like knee pain, nerve damage... in my opnion, 4cm is pretty safe.
I can't point to the specific study, but Paley and some other doctors researched a bunch of patients who had their femurs and tibias engthened. The patients who lengthened tibias had a higher chance of developing early arthiritis. They concluded that lengthening should be biased towards femurs.
If you are looking at it from the long term health prespective, do femurs. Also, its cheaper and less complications prone.
Do you think my proportions will be jacked if I get two limb lengthening surgeries to become 6'2"? My sitting height is 91cm
What’s your starting height?
look at his goal and he wanna do 7cm, soooo...he is already tall.
It won’t mess your proportions at all.... but why? This is so pointless at that height.
Everybody gets his own dream so dont blame him for his being tall or not tall.
I suggest you consult your aimed doctor and send him data about your height, wingspan and how much you wanna lengthen and so on.
Is lengthening 7cm safe.It depends

Don't keep your starting height a secret. It's what cowards do.
