are you nuts? who in their right mind would order an ambulance ride as a taxi because "baltimore is unsafe". furthermore you just can't order an ambulance when you feel like it. its emergency use only

if you're quaking in your boots that some random jogger would sucker punch you and mug you while you shuffle around on your walker you can always order yourself the more expensive uber options and cancel the ride each time until you see a non-jogger face on your assigned drivers photo

otherwise you must be trolling so thanks for the laughs

How was the doctor able to rotate it to neutral position? From the place of the osteotomy? What about the position of the fibula after the rotation?

Born with right tibial torsion. Doctor rotates from the place of osteotomy. Not sure about the details of the fibula. I mentioned this in my YouTube channel, feel free to look it up and subscribe.

Well, HeightJourney himself took an ambulance ride to go to his hotel after his hospital discharge. That was no emergency. But I agree with his decision and I would do the same.

Heard of Uber cancellations? Especially when they see you're disabled and don't want the hassle of dealing with you?

Getting sucker punched and mugged while you shuffle around on your walker is a real possibility, no kidding. If doing it in Baltimore, plan everything out. How you will get from point A to point B, what if your phone battery dies, what if drivers cancel on you, are there backup public transportation options, the list goes on.

the ambulance ride from the hospital after a major surgery is standard procedure worldwide

you would get canceled if you order a standard car and the driver doesnt want to bother stowing your wheelchair in his small trunk

id suggest you order uber 6+ or whatever it was called, the van service. their drivers are usually women or polite men so you dont get ditched on the sidewalk like with the cheap uber and they have large trunks to put the wheelchair inside without much hassle

honestly id suggest having a helper for such cases

but i think you’re overthinking it on the dangers of baltimore. ask your driver to avoid any small ghetto streets and to use bug boulevards and highways only

Summary of ambulance: Ambulance rides are only designated for emergency medical transport and as part of certain major medical procedures.

Ambulances are not for taxi rides. Just think, suppose an ambulance company allowed an ambulance to be used as a taxi. Then a medical emergency event takes place. However, the patient cannot be transported to the hospital because that ambulance is being used as a taxi ride. The patient then dies. You know heads are going to roll when all this is discovered.
