Hi
Costs, that's the main reason. I mean the price is like 15% of dr paley's
Tibia(LON) with Dr. Sarin. Cloudo's diary
Quote from: Canon on December 17, 2019, 01:24:26 PMHow much is the surgery?
$17500 includes:
Surgery+hospital stay+ drugs etc...
Airport pick up / drop
Accommodation + internet+ breakfast meal for the period of the treatment(I think 3-6 months)
Physio therapy
Update: Because I came with a tourist visa, the hospital is trying to convert it to a medical visa, so my surgery is gonna be delayed for a couple of days
Advice: come on a medical visa

Where are you from?
Quote from: Canon on December 18, 2019, 11:28:54 AMWhere are you from?
It's complicated, I am originally from the levant, but I was born and raised in kuwait, I did my pharmacy bachelor and master degree in the UK(bachelor University of Leeds, Msc at Uni of Bradford).
So you want to reach 191? I have the same desire but i am already 1,85 tall. Sarin would be an option but i am a bit scared of going to India.

Yes my goal is 191, 7 for tibia and 8 for femurs, but I will try to do more on tibia if possible, the physiotherapist told me he can tell me when to stop to avoid complications by sensing how hard and stretched my muscles and tendons are.
Come now, don't hesitate and keep delaying cuz then you will never do it. But you should know that this is a 4-6 months process, so if you are fine with that and have the money then just do it. Funny thing is I started texting sarin's what's app Thursday morning, Friday morning I was in India xD
Wish you could come, maybe we will experience this journey together bro
Or if it's impossible for you to come now then maybe wait 5 months till I am done with tibia and have reached around 185(like you), then we can start together from around the same height.
btw, where are you from?
Seems like my surgery will be delayed for a little longer than I expected
Anyway, just wanted to share with you guys a photo of my hospital dinner meal

Why they are delaying?
You didn’t inform them before coming, you coming on tourist visa ?

I did! They advised me to come on a medical visa but I told them that the country I am living in is against CLL surgeries(it's banned in kuwait for cosmetic reasons), so I can't get a letter from a hospital in kuwait that recommends my treatment in India(this kind of letter is required for medical visa application). Then they said okay no problem, if you come on a tourist visa, we might be able to convert it to a medical visa for you. So I can't really blame them for all the delaying, it is the Indian government who is responsible for this. Anyway, I hope tomorrow the MoI or whoever is responsible will grant me the medical visa. I don't want to go back to kuwait without doing this surgery, it has been my dream for years now
