Is it possible to stand up long enough to cook? Especially during lengthening?

It depends on your starting level of fitness , but It may take a few months before you are able to stan and walk unassisted (2 months)

However it varies from individuals. 

Also, the more you will stand, the more swelling will occur.

@Dr Assayag with tsf tibia approximately 5cm ll, from the point of surgery how long does it take to walk comfortably? I ask this because I havent researched into tsf until now

Out of curiosity, in terms of recovery what are some example things that a PM&R can do for a LL patient that a physical therapist can't do?
