Quote from: drvbmc on January 30, 2020, 05:57:18 AMJust reading my manifesto after a very long time. This all seems like a distant memory now.
I just wanted to update that I am about 6 months post rod removal now. I didn't realize how much of a difference taking out the rods would be. I quickly went from 80% to 90% function, and I suspect I will plateau here. I am back in every sport that I used to play, and am near the same level as before. The only reason I don't have 100% function is that my hip flexors and IT bands remain to be tighter than before, and I doubt they will ever completely loosen up. Those are the breaks - no pun intended.
Also, sorry for not responding to the pm's. I am not getting email notifications when I get a pm.
Thanks for the update. The permanent tight hip flexor IT band issue doesn't come up alot. I assume Dr M does IT band release?
