Hi guys. I would like your opinion.
Is it a bad idea to state the truth when employer ask why you are unemployed during your leg lengthening of 1.5 years(obviously, because you are recovering and cannot walk)? If it is a bad idea, then should just say something like 'europe travelling'? thanks.
Obviously. No one in the outside world cares about your "height issues" (regardless of how much they shove it in your face).
Tell them to mind their own business.
I don't have height issues. Did the surgery because unequal limb length
So still a bad idea to tell them?
Yeah bro. Bad idea. Keep your mouth closed.
Don't tell em anything!
Definitely don't tell them the truth.

I wouldn't do that either because it implies physical weakness and also possible future issues as well.
Maybe say that you were over weight and also had some bow leg issues so took 1-1.5 years off especially because of delays surgery but everything is sorted out now.
Honestly, i would do some type of work from home deal or be self employed during LL, even if i have to lie about how serious i was about it. That way youll have no gaps in your resume or tax records. No one has to know about the surgery, unless your boss is short he wont understand.
