IIf we take for granted that your valgus comes from the distal femur, then doing a distal femoral osteoplasty with deformity correction and retrograde insertion of stryde nails using the reverse planning method should take care of it!

By doing that you can achieve both correction and length.

hope this helps!

What about using LON or externals ?
Dont you think correction exercise will treat it ?

In the right hands, it is very easy to correct deformity and lengthen by using an external fixator. In our practice we do it routinely.

It can also be done over a nail with the LON or LATN techniques .

Unfortunately, no amount of exercise or bracing will correct bony deformities once into adulthood.
