If you are an Indian citizen, you need a visa to travel to most countries. The best LL countries that stand right now are USA, South Korea and some European countries (arguably).
- To get a visa to any of these countries, you need to have a job. Yes. It is weird, but it is almost impossible to get a visa to any of these countries without a job.
- If you have a job, it is a guarantee for them that you will return to India. It is called having "home ties".
- But LL requires you to be disabled for months and most employers will not give you keep if you need a 3-4 month break.
- So you can't get a visa
Even if you are somehow able to earn so much money in India to afford top doctors, you can't, because of visa issues. The only relief is if you are running your own business in India, then you can write yourself an employment letter for visa.
Has anyone on the forum managed to get a visa for this while keeping your job? I suppose most people here are American, Canadian or EU people who can travel where ever they want.
