as i am from india and i have some relatives in mumbai, i might be able to get a decent apartment there(not confirmed) and i will most probably have a relative with me to do shopping and buying food or we can arrange it on a monthly rate also i feel the hotels there are a bit high on rent excluding food.

At what point this year are you planning on doing LL?  I may be ready towards the end of 2015.

Hello ramujp17,

I'm too from India and planing to get the surgery done in February / March 2015. I'm either going with Mangal Parihar or may choose to get it done in China

That's an excellent idea. I've asked Dr Shah if he might consider me eligible. But if he allows the patient to do distraction at home (with internal PRECICE for femurs) the I won't be seeking accommodation and staying in Mumbai longer than necessary.

One thing to keep in mind for those thinking of surgery with Dr Parihar is that if you are an India resident, then he requires one person, such as a family member or friend, to stay with you for the duration of the lengthening process. If you don't have someone who will act as your caretaker, then he will not do surgery on you.
