Well, if I get the money my mom would borrow the money not me( I dont even work), if I wait 10 years more it would more expensive.More advices are well read.
Never borrow money for this surgery, who the hell knows what will happen.
Quote from: Alu on February 11, 2017, 07:06:14 PMYeah guys lets:
a) Provide financial advice to a teen who probably has no clue how the real world works, and just how restrictive debt can be at an early age
and b) Yeah guys lets borrow money to pay for a cosmetic procedure that's one of the riskiest of them all. I'm sure with all that loss of time/money you guys will be just fine and dandy. I'm sure you guys probably did save up a surplus amount of currency to also pay for any complications that occur along the way. Because you know... why else would you be getting a loan to begin with right??
Yup.
Then what the hell I do?? I would go for only external tibia, the worrying thing is sleeping.
*shrug* if he can get a loan at a lower interest rate, maybe 3% APR, there's no good reason he can't pay it back, if that's what he really wants. Getting a loan at low interest, paying it back, might be hard, I don't know how old he is.
I mean he should have extra money saved up too, for complications and paying back the debt, but if it's just extra money he needs to pay for the surgery, then surely that is OK.
Getting a loan out can mean he only needs to save up for the safety net for complications (plus a bit extra towards paying back the loan) rather than having to save up for the surgery too, which tbh would take years for most people, seeing as we are talking a few tens of thousands of euros. It might, for example, halve the time he has to wait for the surgery, and let him stretch his money a lot further.
Obviously getting into debt at the expense of the rest of his life is a really bad idea. I don't know what his plans are and how much getting into debt would hurt them...
Get money from a bank is sell your soul, God help us.
Ah LOL, one thing I forgot to mention, since 3 years ago I am living in LA, where currency is sh$t.
Please bear in mind that while the surgery may feel urgent, in reality it isn't and can be done at any point in the future. It would be much more beneficial to undergo this journey from a place of financial security so as I stated in my earlier reply, please consider all of your options before needlessly putting yourself in debt.
Onemorefoot, you said before if you're 5 ft 9 you would be happy, now you grew to 5 ft 9 (175 cm) right? and where are you from?
