I know Cuba is not one of the best countries in the world, but they have one of the best medicine schools in the globe and what about Dr. Rodrigo Alvarez Cambra. I've heard he has done amazing contributions talking about LL. Please if anyone knows something about it, I would be really thankful to read your comments.

i found this about that Doctor
Outstanding orthopedist and scientist, doctor Rodrigo Alvarez Cambras was granted the 280th Anniversary of the University of Havana Medal in recognition of his significant contribution to Cuban medical sciences.
During the ceremony, which took place November 24 at the Aula Magna of the Havana institution, University Vice-rector Cristina Perez handed over the medal to Cambras, who is the founder of the Frank Pais International Orthopedic Center. Doctor Perez highlighted the nearly 50-year work of Alvarez Cambras.
The outstanding scientist was a pioneer of what is known as bio-materials in Cuba and he also developed the implementation of research studies carried out by the Bio-material Center of the University of Havana. Cambras was the creator of the RALCA external bone tensors or fixators, which have benefited over 200, 000 Cuban patients. The fixators are currently being used in 18 countries of the world.
Cambras is also the head of the National Orthopedics and Traumatology Group and member of 26 foreign orthopedics societies. He has been granted over one hundred distinctions and orders, including the Carlos J. Finlay and the Hero of Labor of the Republic of Cuba.
Upon receiving the medal, the scientist said he was honored with the distinction and recalled his revolutionary background, which started during his years as a student and also included several actions against the Batista dictatorship before 1959.
I just want to contribute with something.
hope you guys can share your opinions and who know probably we can get something good from this.
