this is a question for those who've done the surgery what are some tests you should've done before and after the surgery in order to track progress of recovery and as a benchmark to how close you are to your pre-surgery state

some examples would be
-top running speed
- jumping vert
- stretching capabilities

other non exercise comparisons
- walking gait
- morning/ waking up flexibility

is there anything else you guys can add to this?

I'm asking as i've gone through surgery for other reasons and wanted to have a clear record of my previous state etc

any help would be appreciated.
