Assuming you lengthen 8/6 for femurs and tibias, are there any differences in healing rate? Do tibias heal faster than femurs, or is it negligible?

Also heard from someone that it takes approximately 1.5 years for tibias to heal fully and 3 years for femurs. How true is that?

Femurs heal faster.

- A lot more muscle which means a lot more blood flow which means bone heals better.
- Tibias means coordinating two broken bones per side whereas femurs is only one bone per side. Femurs is simply less complex.
- The tendons for tibias (eg. Achilles) are a lot less stretchy than the ones associated with femurs.
