Having surgery next month in Greece.  Are there any supplements or vitamins I should be taking now?  What about post-surgery?  I imagine it's a lot easier to get them in the States and bring them with me to Greece rather than trying to find them there.
If there are any other useful items that people would recommend to bring with, please share as well.

Thanks

Paley recommended  vitamin D3 prior to the surgery or you can get vitamin D from the sun naturally. Paley tests patients prior to the surgery for their vitamin D level....stay away from fish oil, curcumin, turmeric prior to the surgery because it can cause blood thinning

Its important to use also magnesium especially if you are using big amounts vitamin D. Magnesium converts vitamin D bio active. Without magnesium D just stores into body.

Magnesium citrate at least is good form. -Oxide form is always cheapest and worst.

Magnesium easily causes diarrhea. So take it enough small amount.
