Hello,
I am planning to get limb lengthening surgery and I have a pre existing leg tattoo.
I'm wondering if anyone here with a tattooed leg can answer my question.
What did Limb lengthening do to your tattoo did it disort it or what kind of effect did it have?
I'm also planning to go from 5'11' to 6'2' through surgery so 3 inches.
Even though it is basically an average height I don't consider myself average in anything and find my height embarrassing for a man.
I have also been wearing lifts in my shoes and have lived my life as a fake 6'2' man for years and im tired of it and would like to be able to go to the pool partys and wear sandals.
The pain and money is absolutely worth it to me for that alone.
My roommate in Russia had a tatoo on his legs and did 5 cm. I could not see any difference regarding the tatoo.

What he said, i had both my legs with tattoo and they look exactly the same
Then the only thing I need to think about is finding a good surgeon thanks guys.

How about the scars? Did they not mess up the tattoo? I would figure it would. My tibia scars are very noticeable, i do t see how if i had leg tattoos it wouldnt mess it up?

I only have one leg full tattoed and is a really old maori, only one of the pins scarred the tattoo while on the other leg i have one on the side and was completely unaffected. I couldn’t care less if they end up destroyed but Dr Pili was kind enough to try to not mess the tattoos up as much as he could on his own.

Don't do it.
Unless you live in Netherlands, it won't make any difference.
You will be throwing money and a year of your life for nothing.
