It's not that big of a deal because in adults the long bones have mostly useless yellow marrow in them, but in some biological emergencies yellow marrow can be converted back to red marrow.

Really?  If you donate marrow its replenished in 4-6 weeks.  I thought it just regenerated when the rods come out.

This is what ChatGPT says:

"After the completion of the lengthening process and the consolidation of the newly formed bone, the yellow marrow can regenerate within the bone marrow cavity. The body's natural healing and regenerative processes will gradually restore the normal yellow marrow composition in the bone. This regeneration may take several months to years, depending on various factors such as the individual's age, overall health, and the specific bone involved in the surgery."

When you're such a pussy you only did 3.2cm on femurs, chances are there's not much marrow that needs regenerating at all as your body barely changed.

lmao imagine being this triggered.  Theres a few high profile documentaries on LL and the producers are asking for pictures and personal stories on reddit.  I forwarded this photo and said it was me: https://imgur.com/a/z2nLlRf  You seem to want attention so you have your big moment now  What would you do? Quad to 173cm or Femurs to 171cm?
