Hello

Does anyone know where I can bulk buy STERILE GAUZE DRESSING PADS in mumbai?

As I will be doing LL soon, will be needing many to last up to four months.

Previous and current people who have done or are doing LL in India say they are expensive.

You don't need them. I never got an infection, and I left them unwrapped the whole time.

There is 3 pharmacy's per block. Meds and supplies are supper cheap.

Does boiling non-sterile gauze work? I heard that's how they do it in India.

You boil the water to disinfect it and then use sterile gauze to clean and wrap the pins and wires.

At any chemist. I don't know about the 'sterile' part, whether what comes is sterile or not.
