Which Xray shows the Age of Bones?? Growth Hormone for Hands , Tendons, Ligament

Guys please someone here yesterday said that He is taking HGH and he is 21 and his hands are growing and that his Endo told him about a specific xray to show Bone Age or if Plates are closed!
Can someone please help/ guide me what is that and whats its name because where i live doctors are too Stupid!!
Another thing is i took GrowthHormone at 16! When my knee was already closed , it didnt do anything so i stopped after 3 months .....
I am so depressed that even if i lengthen legs other things wont be affected
So please if someone knows what xray is that and how to know if theres still hope in Hands/ arms...etc to take HGH again.
