Nothing  “sinister” there imo. These complications span the last 6-7 years. With the number of cases Giotikas does each year, they probably represent less than 1% which is completely expected in deformity correction surgeries.
Some of the cases are not even simple LL or deformity cases, but more complex already failed referrals from other doctors. I can't say whether Giotikas did everything right or not. I'm just saying that it is well known that the greater the complexity of a case the greater the potential for problems and that there may be more to the stories than what is presented.

What I am saying is that Giotikas, Paley, Lee, Rozbuch, Thaller and a few others are the only ones who have presented or published their experience and results (including their complications) regularly in international forums or journals. And this in itself is an indicator of their caliber compared to others.
