Why Do I Look Taller Compared To Others In Side View?

I have noticed that, when I am comparing my height to that of others through reflections, I often look a lot shorter than some people in front view, but, then, from the side view, I appear at least as tall as them, if not slightly taller.
What's up here? Which view do I take as being my true height?

It's about height. And this is the height section of the forum.

I don't mean I feel taller based on how high up others seem to me in side view. I mean that, literally, my reflection in the glass looks taller than others when I am walking in front of or behind someone else, and there is glass to our side, and I am looking at it.
