Cosmetic limb lengthening surgery is my only opinion to improve my life. My short height has been a consistent barrier in my life. It feels like no matter how smart , friendly or talented I am. the most thing I get judged and treated the most is my height. I have come to the conclusion that human beings want the whole package. They want to have a good looking person with a nice personality. And just having a nice personality alone is not enough to succeed in the world. My short height negative impacts the way otherse see me. I am not treated fairly. When it comes to employment opportunities I am always the first person to get fired or laid off. when I deal with professionals in my life I have to fight to be treated fairly. And it just seems like a never losing battle. I have tried to self advocate for myself, advocate for others and bring attention to short stature individuals but it seems like no one is listening. I really hope people read what I wrote. So they know about some difficulties that short people may encounter. I really hope that when I do the surgery that it will be success and people will see me and treat me the way I see myself.
