Guys I'm very new to this forum and the whole leg lengthening topic. I'm planning to go for one. I'm looking for full weight bearing options.
Also I can across the above link. Apparently with gnail they will lengthen 1cm during the surgery itself. Is this true and safe?

If I'm not wrong, all other doctors create a 0.25cm or 0.5cm distraction during the surgery. I don't think 1cm will do much damage π€·π»ββοΈ. But it'll cut down the lengthening period by a week or so.

If you don't mind, may I know when did you start walking without crutches? I would want to walk without any assistance as soon as possible π
