I am 172.3 cm right after waking up, 171 cm during the day, and 170 cm at night. I never knew which one to use for reference. Which one do you use? Thanks

2.3CM is indeed a significant increase in height. My height only changes slightly over half a CM during the day. It is essential to maintain consistency in the separation of your feet and the distance to the wall to ensure consistent measurements.

Yes, I have attempted and verified over 100 instances, occasionally observing 169, which is alarming. Experiencing up to 3 cm limb lengthening during the day, at times, seems astonishing. The measurements range from 169 in the evening to 172.3 in the morning, indicating a striking contrast that can be unsettling, especially when encountering 169. The situation is disheartening.

Morning: 170.5cm
Afternoon: 169.6cm
Both measurements taken at the hospital
I feel really down when I realize my height is below 170.

Meetings with an orthopedic doctor usually take place in the morning, so I prefer mornings. The stadiometer is the key thing to focus on. Measuring yourself is not accurate.

I have observed that taking daily Glucosamine sulfate 1000 mg (after a month or so) is truly beneficial for preserving morning height for an extended period during the day and can also elevate your minimum level (+4mm above my previous daily minimum level).

Why is it problematic if your approach is valid?

Say your noontime stature is the most accurate, falling between the extremes. The initial 10 minutes of the morning, when you are at your tallest, go unnoticed. Interestingly, in Denmark, individuals typically add 4-5+ cm to their height due to being measured in shoes, a rather amusing practice.
