Hallo Everyone
I'm new on this side ,I 'm planing to have a limb lengthening surgery end of this year ,I'm 158cm short 🙈" my goal is 173" 1: My question is if it possible to have such kind of surgery at one's?Â
2: what type of surgery will be the best?
3: what is the max lengthening?
I think it is possible with a nail
choose a good doctor and examine your proportions
15 cm is the max for a good recovery, avoid disproportions
Do less if running or fast walking is somthing you plan do to in the future. I'd recommend you do 6/7cm's with an internal nail and be done, long femurs look good ob women and 164/165 is a very decent height.
More will look weird, will cost you another  ton of money (you'll have to pay 50 000$for one surgey) and will seriously reduce your chances of a decent recovery.
That is way too much. Stick to 8 cm.
Yeah, do 7-8 cms max.
15cms will screw you up for good.

7.5 cm with internal femur lengthening and then 7.5 cm with internal tibia lengthening? Dr. Guichet?

I mean body function wise. 15cms is massive, one should at least do 7-8cms, see how the entire process went and then maybe aim for more.
Proportions are a secondary concern but yeah that too.

So it depends on the initial proportions and capacity of our body?
