Is it better to do 2.5 cm each because then you won't be stretching your soft tissues as much? Therefore you can get as close to 100% doing 2 segments of 2.5 cm rather than 1 segment of 5 cm

Trust me and do at least 3.5cm + 3.5cm.
You won't regret.
Trust me..
Edit: The best is to have the surgery on your femurs. But still, what I mean is: if you are literally going to have 2 surgeries, at least do 3.5cm instead of 2.5. They both are almost the same safe.
