I want to do this because my 14 yo little brother is already 186, my sister 175cm and all my cousins are taller than me. Also my father is 185, see now that "my average" is another. There's a lot of reasons why ppl do CLL.
Btw mad bro?

He's just saying not to get carried away. Don't take it defensively; I can understand what he's saying--someone who's, say, 6'3 in the USA willing to break their bones and go through months of rehabilitation to grow taller is likely to have mental problems.

I think 8CM in one segment could be a bit of a stretch, mostly worried about the biomechanics at this point.

What's wrong with 186CM? It's a decent height and should be a much safer goal.

I'm aiming for two surgerys (4/4) but maybe I'll stop at 4cm en tibia, I'll see

Are you sure you aren't just saying that because that's your own goal? Seems pretty suspicious to me that you're also lengthening to this exact height. And it's doubly suspicious that you claim 183cm+ is too tall for your country, I highly doubt that and it just sounds like a case of the fox and the grapes. 180+ is the sweet-spot for LL because..

The sweet spot is whatever you make it, and for very short guys whatever height can normalize them is the sweet spot.

Using your own reasoning though, it's most logical to conclude that 188-191 cm is the 'sweet spot' because as you said in another thread you are looking for a global height. This height would make you tall in some short regions and nondescript in tall regions.

188 would not fit into my country. In fact I asked some friends who don't know I am lengthening. They said 183 is probably too tall. So 182+ would fit well into my country and still be above average in the Scandinavia.

I am not sure what is the "too tall" height in America and elsewhere, but I don't do a global occupation. Yes I travel, but 182 is more than enough to make me feel adequate (I travel mostly to Asia, as well, rarely do I go to Europe/America)

I chose 182.5 because of my reasoning. I can go further with femur lengthening but I do not want to be seen as "too tall" by girls. Yes. a few of them (who don't know my surgery) have said 183 is abit too tall for a date.

Finally, 180+ is essentially the celebrity height. Justin Bieber is only 175,same with Nick Jonas and M jackson. There are a few 173 celebrities (Zac Efron, Usher), but most of them popular ones are 180+ (1.8 - harry styles, 183 - jimmy fallon, 1.8 - JC chasez, ). Ricky Martin for example.. List a few more, I cant remember off my hand but in America, about 185 seems the upper limit for white celebrities(eg, Enrique Iglesias, who sang with Whitney, Justin Timberlake). The same for Asian celebrities - Jae joong (1.180+ is the sweet-spot for LL because.., Yunho (1.84), Jiro Wang (1.82), Arron Yan(1.77), Wu Zun (1.81), kim hyun joong (1.82), kim su hyun (1.80),etc.

1.83 is also the MAXIMUM female height in Hollywood. Sigourney Weaver (1.83), Brooke Shields(1.83), and Glee's Jane Lynch (1.83). Uma Thurman (1.81) and Nicole Kidman (1.80), Taylor swift (1.78): http://www.npr.org/2012/12/07/166400760/hollywood-heights-the-ups-downs-and-in-betweens

note: celebrities tend to be taller, so the fact that the upper limit for celebrities is 1.83 , is telling!

Soooo I came to conclusion best height is 182.

I think Itsmylife is right about the height though. Just add 4-5 cm´s to 183 and you´ll get the perfect height for countries like the us or europe. The average height in scandinavian countries is only 1cm above the average height for young white males in the states (180-179), so it shouldn´t even matter much in the northern countries.

A sweet spot is rather a personal opinion than something you can generalize, like everything when it comes to aesthetics and beauty, so this whole discussion won´t lead to a consensus.
