I turned 19 about a week ago and I'm currently 5'9/175 cm
I think 99% of people don't grow significantly (over 2 inches) from this point on so its kinda bleak.
I'm black and just tryna looksmax in general right now(LASIK, working out, growing hightop dreads) and It's not that I think I'm short I just can't stand not being taller it annoys me to no end that I had a tier dice roll meanwhile my 16 year old brother is already 6'0".
Yeah I could get women but my life would be significantly better in many aspects if I was 6'2.
Is it possible for me to gain 4 to 5 inches from leg lengthening or would I be fked healthwise?
Is it possible to maintain normal proportions with growth of that amount?
I'm in the greater Boston area but I'm not opposed to going elsewhere to find a practicioner, obviously I want to get good results but not pay a ridiculously high amount. If you could recommend me some practicioners that would be great!
Also I'm very open to drugs/medication since that's x100 less invasive
I used mk677 when I was 17 but I wasn't consistent and often went to sleep or didn't take it because it was the worst thing I have ever tasted.
I noticed a significant increase in clavicle length so much so that a fruend and my mom both pointed it out.
If I grew in height at all it was very negligible.
You probably know the painful answer, just accept it bro. You can go through this painful and expensive surgery, then what ? Do you're really think you're becoming the ''alpha'' ? do think you need to reach the requirements of society ? So i'll tell you, nothing is gonna change, i mean in all aspects.
Im recently 17, 1,68 (5'6'') and pretty sure i won't grow even 1cm. All my male relativies are shorter, less than 1,74. And then what ? Until now, NOBODY told me Im short, for real. The average in my country is 1,74, but in my state the average is a little bit higher than 1,75.
You dont have to be the perfect man, trust me. I would just do this surgery if i were shorter than 1,60. But i dont need to. I cured my dysphoria about height. If I would had your height, for sure i would be happier, but it does not matter, you looks great for some, but u cant looks great for everyone. Dont even waste your time with those drugs, you are not growing anymore, it is needed to accept, or else it'll leave you destroyed and depressed.
Talking seriously now. If my opnion wasnt worth for you, and you take the lengthening as a goal, i recommend you 3Cms on tibia and 4cm on femurs. Its safer. Before you try it, get start streching about 3 months before the process.
About the numbers, less is more.
Ngl dude I feel like anything below 6'0" is a straight up waste for the amount of $$$ I would drop on this surgery and time spent.
Plus I feel like I'll always feel subhuman as long as I'm average, being average definitely isn't the worst but it fking sucks.
Obviously I want more than 10cm but anything more seems ot cripple people.
Also is there any racial difference in bone mass or muscle that might make my recovery easier/more difficult?

Live your life and stop worrying about all of this in your case at 5'9". You're not ideal. Life could be more ideal yes but the amount of psychological rumination, wasted time/opportunity, and amount of cost it's gonna take is gonna take an extreme toll on you as you're already emotionally vulnerable. LL is very extreme.
You're looking to be more appealing which is perfectly fine and normal. I agree, good soft "looksmaxxing" techniques will work making sure you are keeping your skin well, body, nice hair etc. and those are all great things that will improve your goals.
At the end of the day when you start going the surgery route (Especially LL), this is a whole different ball game and you are barking up a tree that you'll never be able to get down from. I'd suggest appreciating what you have and trying to control the things that you can control to improve yourself and not worrying or delving too deeply into your height and how you look etc.
Once you start to measure your worth based on things you cannot control you set yourself up for a life of depression and failure of living up to unrealistic expectations for yourself etc.
I hope that you will not lurk this forum too long as many here would love to be your height. But obviously this is just advice and you can do whatever you'd like.

There's no cure for those who suffer from BDD.

Yes there is a cure: Adversity
Face any amount of life adversity aside from the everyday comforts of being able to constantly think about your flaws in the comfort of your own home with whatever food and drinks + entertainment you want and be thrown into a world where you have to pay your own rent, feed yourself and tend to others and you'll suddenly appreciate what you have more and BDD will intensify far less if not completely disappear.
You’re mentally ill and no height number is going to save you.
Why you want to be 6 feet tall ?
