sorry guys. I do not really know what is talked about here. But if it is what i suspect the average height of men in China then I can tell you the following.

I have been to some major cities in China. And those area where the rich and young Chinese people live young men are quite tall.

I have lived in a few cities in China, both north and south, and 178 isn't the average male height anywhere. It's simply not true.

However, people in China seemed to be more concerned with height on average, particularly the women. So it wouldn't surprise me if a bunch of guys there thought they needed to be 5'10 to get a girl. Women in China have a reputation on the mainland for being stuck up babies that are hell to deal with and have ridiculous standards, though.

I don't agree that "he should write English or not at all". You said it, it is an international forum and throughout the world, there are many languages. Those who understand or wish to understand our Chinese member are invited to comment and answer his question. Those who do not can move to another thread.
