Hello guys im from LA and will have this surgery quite soon. Im planning to have LON surgery abroad but not sure if should do 6 or 7cm to avoid altering or losing my athletic abilities and do not want to have too long thighs.

Im planning 6cm really but will see while im lengthening if its enough or need more.

Anybody lengthened 6cm and had any problems while jogging? Sprinting? That my main concern really.

Don't do LON. And, especially, don't do LON on femurs.

Why? Infection risk?

LON is simply outdated. Precice is much safer and carries less complications than LON. No reputable surgeon will do LON femurs.

Not true. Don't do LON on femurs, but LON is the superior option on tibias. It is less comfortable for sure, but it results in lower risk and superior outcomes.

LON tibias is actually okay (compared to LON femurs which is not okay). But it is not clearly "superior" to Precice on tibias. It carries infection risk that Precice doesn't carry. It also leaves way worse scarring and muscle tissue damage.
