Also RGkey I really doubt that thingy on your leg will help with consolidation. Hopefully im wrong but if you didn't have any callus formation in 3 months it kinda looks bad. I got non union on my right fibula and it pisses me off. It hurts just a little if I put a lot of pressure on my leg and move it around  but Id rather have it consolidated. My mistake to do 1 mm a day on tibia 9 centimeters on tibias with Dr. Barinov, Volgograd-Russia

You think it's normal that he decided he found his soul mate after 4 days of dating or that he posted photos of her to a bunch of strangers online? No offense but you had gotten major complications out of half of what he did. So do you think it was sensible to do 9 cm?

Alright bro I was not insulting you with what  I said. Just giving a logical argument. And rgkey can't turn back the time anyway so he has to make the best of a situation.

Rgkey the second surgery I was talking about was when you still had it written in your signature that you were doing femur lengthening. And did you not see that I quoted doomsdays post? He lengthened 4 cm and has major complications which is why I said that he did half of what you did. As for myself I learned from reading in the forum that the most sensible thing to do is to save all the money possible and go to the best quality doctor. I'm not being a parasite when I made a logical point that a lot of the decisions that you make were not smart. My advice is just to think carefully when you make decisions. As doomsday said the device you are using has not helped in bone growth so you should start exploring other options that can help you.

Hey, i see.. no i wont do any more lengthening, I got what I wanted from it, which over all was just the experiences i encountered, many experiences that i will keep with me forever. I agree I make a lot decision that for most people are not smart or not ideal, but then I am where i am because of them, so its not so bad. I think LL is not a smart decision period, and 9 cm is not, and 90% of all decision i do they are definitily not smart, but if they are bad or good, well again, judging by my present reality, they were pretty good decisions since im very happy and learned a lot. This device i have i dont think it will help but my doctor recommended it and if this doesnt work he will operate me and put bone graft.  So i already have everything planned. Most likely i will have a third surgery on this leg. Well, it is what it is. Thank u for ur words and advice.

A safe amount of 5 to 6. Rgkey I'm glad you planed out the next steps you should take. Hopefully you are able to make a full recovery in the future.

to be honest it changes from person to person... anything within 5cms it should be safe, 7cm max.

some people can go to 9cms or even more with little complications.. it will all depend on what the doctor thinks. Hopefully a good one.
