I'd recommend your video channel to all future CLL'ers !!
You have been really helpful 9 centimeters on tibias with Dr. Barinov, Volgograd-Russia

I see you want to do 6cms on femurs and 4 on tibias)) if you can afford it I think that is the best choice you can make!!! just stick with it!!))
if you do less than 7cms in one part your recovery will be much better!!!! I like your plan and your mindset))

Thanks man!!
I worked my ass off and thankfully will be able to afford both.
I really do not want to exceed 6 cm on femurs and 5 cm on tibias cause of higher complication risks.
I will be very happy with 9-10 cm gain but not more because I have a small body frame and will look disproportionate. I guess working out after surgery will improve this.

being in a good shape always help))
i recommend you to do internal on femurs and external(ilizarov) on tibias. Regardless of the discomfort of having frames, ilizarov is the safest device out there. And for femurs, if you want to go more than 5cms then do internal.

so now I walk for about 15-20 minutes 3 times a day with a 20 litters gallon on my shoulder for better consolidation of the bone. And I

must say after doing all my searching and talking to my doctor Im coming to the conclusion that, despite the discomfort and

inconvenience, Ilizarov Apparatus is the safest device out there for tibias))))

To all other former lilizarov lengtheners,

How safe/recommendable is to carry extra weight at this stage while you still got the frames on? Would like to hear some opinions. Thanks!

Is this something advised by your doctor or you just do it on your own?

@Leornardo: it is completely safe))
the worst that can happen is that you will break a pin or two, then just have your doctor replace it)))) each pin supports 120 pounds, and right now I have 6 pins on each leg.

@Mediocre: Yes I asked my doctor if I could do it, my doctor said it is really good for me to do it, specially at the stage of consolidation, it will help the bones a lot more) of course he didn't believe I could do it, but Im all about consolidating my bones and getting my frames off and actually he is the one filming me on this video.

Awesome videos. I will watch them all when I get home.

Sorry, I didn't copy and paste your diary from the old forum as promise. I don't have access to the old forum and thinking of how to get there feels like a drag.

But I think what you have on here so far is sufficient. Had I have access to your diary one year ago, I would have gone to Russia and wouldn't be in a mess where I am now.
