update: life is good, can't run or jump or do weights with legs, at this point i dont know if ill be able to recover 100% or even go back to my normal sport activities. I accepted this reality and it's all good, before surgery I knew this was a possibility so Im very happy I can at least walk and im taller and i can do other things in life, pretty much enough to get by. plus i like my look specially with lifts, i just love it! regardless of what others think. i still have stiffness it hasnt gone away. im still about 9 months post frames removal. Doctor said 1 year until I can slowly go back to sports, but honestly i doubt it lol, but will see still few months from that, i think at least one more year for running, but i will see, i will make a huge post the day I can run again and even better go back to martial arts, if that happens that will be a miracle hahaha! funny enough i can pretty much dance as i did before so that is kind of strange and awesome!!!! but i really can, very happy about that.

about femurs, i will never consider it untill i can go back to all my sport activities, so maybe never.

Well you look great, you really do but the fact that you can't run is kind of scary -not gonna lie.

I think you should visit a doctor and get his opinion on why this is because you really should be able to, even though you lengthened a lot.

i cant run or jump due to muscle stiffness, it just feels very uncomfortable and even pain on the front muscles. not the big muscles the small ones.

I'm no doctor but that sounds like good news. If you're muscles are tight it is possible to loosen them up with stretching and stuff like that. Can't say why you have pain but a doctor will be able to tell, you might need to get some kind of treatment. Medium drink of Water got achilles lengthening I think and after that he was able to run around like he used to, who knows? In a couple of months that could be you. Find a good doctor that'll be able to help you. Just imagine -if your life is good now, it's nothing against when you get your agility back. Good luck man.

loooking' good
i  think 176 is ok for u, but ur arms are a little short at 176. i think if u value proportion u shd not do the femur surgery beyond a few centimetres.
i am doing 8 cm, so i might be in for quite abit. i;m going about my daily life pretty well at 4 cm mark now:)
thanks for being our inspiration that it is possible to avoid ballerina.

It took me a long time to be able to do get back to normal.  I had that tightness and soreness and fatigue too, with every step.  So I don't think you're completely out of luck as long as you keep trying to push yourself.  I don't think I was fully done with LL until two years after my first surgery, and I did 7.5.  It could be 3, 4, or 5 years for you having done so much lengthening.

And to set the record straight in this thread, I never had achilles lengthening.  Dr. Peng examined me and said I didn't need it.  My right ankle was still kind of tight a year and a half after my first surgery and I thought I might need it, but he said to just keep stretching and it'd go away, and he was right.

I developed exertional compartment syndrome in my tibialis anterior muscles (the ones in the front of the lower leg) and got a fasciotomy for it.  Our symptoms sound similar.  Google that muscle and see if that's where the problem is.  I think Dr. Paley performs fasciotomy on those muscles routinely when he performs tibial LL.
