Even though the saying we are all proportionate naturally is true to an extent, the main reason that is true is because human proprotions vary a lot naturally and that is why we think a lot of different proportions look natural, at least that is my opinion.
This thread has been done a lot before but i made a new one to highlight a great example of a high level athlete (kickboxer in this case) who has very long legs.
Badr Hari: 198 cm tall

especially in that last pic he easily looks like he could have been an LL patient (but of course if i didnt know about LL i would never notice he had a very short torso even)
But obviously since he is a high level kickboxer since an early age with great agility and flexibility, there is no way this guy did LL.
So do you guys think he looks disproportional?
A good natural example of short torso - long legs
Sorry to destroy it for you, but he is very proportionate
Everything on him is taller than the shorter guy.
It only looks like that bc of the clothes in the 3d pic
The proportion nazis here would say anyone looks perfectly proportional then change their mind if they found out the guy had LL. Don't bother trying to convince them; it's all distorted thinking in their heads impervious to rational arguments and examples.
Badr Hari does have very long arms though... Almost no one doing LL can have those arms without subsequent AL. His hands and feet are also huge. His torso does look small to me though. I wonder what his sitting height is.
He could be slouching too
(Showing off his abs)
I don't really mind proportionally short arms, tbh. If you work out you'll still look beastly regardless. Hey that's an idea, if you get your upper body buffed out after having a height lower than your wingspan, people would just chalk it up to being an illusion of short arms due to upper body mass, rather than just having short arms because of genetics.

Im so disappointed
never would have guessed you would answer that.

not really, and the small difference in upper body height between the two kickboxers is way less than the difference in leg length in either case.
Badr hari is looking down while the other guy is looking up, so there probably is a small height difference in their necks/heads, but if you measure from their waistline to the shoulders where the neck starts, it is pretty much the same height there.

good point, that is true, although my thread was simply to point out that the height ratio between torso and legs vary a lot between individuals. arm length is more important in looking proportional after doing LL.

haha yeah you are probably right about that
