Hi guys
I was just wondering if any of you have had achilles tendon lengthening after tibia lengthening and what were the results? Did you notice an increase in flexibility?
Im currently doing lengthening. I have decided to stop at 5cms which will put me at 5-9-5-9.5" or so.
I made the decision to stop at 5cms as from what i have read it seems to be the amount that is safest for tibias and at least allows a certain level of athletic ability to be maintained. Ideally i wanted 7.5cms but whats idealistic and whats realistic are two separate things.
My tendons are simply too thick and in a shortened state from years of weight training, the doctors think mine are 3-4 times thicker and stronger than the average mans. Im sandbagging my left leg with 4 sandbags in a pillow case with the spanner and some other stuff in fir extra weight. Im currently at 3cms gain and things are starting to tighten.
