Now, we know that stryde is not coming back for 2 years. What are alternate options? I don't trust that german doctor. What do you guys think about doing 4cm + 4cm with 1 year gap? It'll reduce the wheelchair time and will be better mentally.

Maybe Fitbone? It's a magnetically extendable nail like Stryde but it's not banned. Prof Baumgart from Munich performs this surgery.

Do frames or LATN in your tibias now and leave femurs for next year or whenever Stryde is back. If you do LATN,you could even combine nail removal from the tibia with Stryde insertion in your femurs at the same surgery, saving this way some money and an additional surgery.

It was co-developed by "that German doctor" so just keep that in mind Alternate plans instead of stryde

It's not trash, but it's not fully weight-bearing, so according to the doctor I spoke to not ideal for cosmetic procedures. Having said that, the same applies to Precise.

I don't know for sure, but a doctor did told me that Fitbone is not used by most doctor because it has problems, like stopping working mid lenghtening. So it's like a non reliable precice nail. I think that, if someone does not want to go for Precise, he should go for Betzbone (I would do if I had the money).

I'm 100% going for Betzbone cause I have the money. I just need to figure out when I can get into Germany because of travel restrictions since I live in Canada.

Yeah I would prefer Betzbone too. In fact, that is what I am going for now.
